Hamburg and bread.

Hey, I am back!

Let me continue with the next city on my Spring Break trip.

We went to Hamburg, Germany.
Travelling by train in between cities are the best transportation method ever. I definitely recommend that. Though, I am a little upset that I could not get a stamp on my passport to prove I have been to Hamburg, but it is still worth it.

Train train train!
Honestly, I cannot tell a lot about my stay in Hamburg as I have forgotten most of them. However, I will highlight some of the places that I feel worth stopping by if you ever go there.

I must congratulate my mother; our Accommodation and Transportation planner for her amazing choice of hotels. This one in particular are very close to the main train station in Hamburg. Very very close. And if you need to find Halal food, it is just near by.

The main Train Station for Harmburg (I assume)

Random street art

We spent the rest of our travelling day walking around in some parts of the city. Out of nowhere, we reached the Alster Lake. It was almost sunset by the time we reached there. The view was just breath taking.
Alster Lake

Again, another street art near the lake.

The next day, we hire the Hamburg Hop On Hop Off bus services. It definitely made our lives much easier. haha.

There are the RED and YELLOW bus tour.

We stop at few of the suggested areas. I managed to grab a very nice cardigan/jacket at one of the shops open underground for a reasonable price. Yes, underground! If you want to shop and do a little sightseeing, then you can go to the Jungfernstieg. It is situated in front of the Binnesalster. Thus, a really calming strolling experience.
Few buildings in Hamburg.
Picture!

This was close when we were there.

We took a boat tour around the port city, across the River Elbe. Definitely not the ordinary canal tour you find in most European country. Oh! We also had an amazing lunch around the area as well! It is situated next to the boat tour dock. I highly recommend you to eat there if you are in the area.

Sorry for the not very clear picture of the tour.

I'm not sure if this is exclusive shop or otherwise, but they serve fantastic dishes.

Loving this one in particular.

While you are there, do take your time to visit the Elbtunnel. It is an old tunnel still in use connecting the Southern city and the Inner city. If you are afraid of heights, you may find this a bit challenging to climb down the stairs (if you go by foot). Worry not, you will be able to take the lift back up to the surface.

Down down the tunnel.

You may walk across under the seaaaaa.

While you are at it, do visit the Hafen City District. It is still new. You can also go to the Miniatur Wunderland while you are there. I did not managed to visit it due to time constraint, but I would love to go there if I get the chance to visit Hamburg again.

View around the new city.
The souvenirs are really pretty in Hamburg. T-shirts for example, the designs are something that I would (am) definitely wear if I go out.

Did I mention that they have this huge Hard Rock cafe?

These are only some of the many delicious bread the have.

Yeap, that is about it for my trip in Hamburg. We did spend a lot of time eating German's specialty - Bread. They have wonderful bread over there. ;)

Till next time. :) Copenhagen baby.

Comeback! :P

I know this may have been so long, in fact too long since my last update but I am here!

I miss writing, even if there is no one reading it; I still write them so that I can read them again when I feel like it. SS much.

Anyway, for my first post after a long hiatus, I am going to share my experience in Amsterdam during the Easter Break early this year.

You can find this sign a lot

My parents were kind enough to come visit my brother and me. Visiting means that we had to meet them at Amsterdam. -_-

I feel so sorry for my parents because they were still on ‘jet lag’ but our journey must begin.

We got the IAMSTERDAM package for two days. Honestly, I do not think that we needed it, barely use it. My parents were not into ‘museums’ so…. money BURNED!

Beginning our night walk with the map in my hand

As it is the Spring season, we stopped by at Keukenhof hoping to see lots of beautiful Tulips. Unfortunately, Miss Winter did not want to go, so most of the flowers had not yet bloomed. :(

Keukenhof!

Regardless of that, the place itself was really beautiful. With flowers or not, it was definitely one of the place I would recommend for you to visit if you ever come to Amsterdam. Best during Spring of course. Other times, maybe not so much.

Beautiful flowers (Tulips)

Windmill, famous here.

We then went back to our hotel. It was located in front of the Hard Rock Café. A fantastic location but you had to pay for the Internet. What a Turn off!

The fair I was telling you about.

My brother and me decided to let our parents rest while we storm the city by night. *wink wink

We took the tram, which is famous in Amsterdam up until the city Centre to the Magna Plaza area. From there we just walk our way around.
There was a fair that night. The rides available were terrifying. The only thing we were brave enough to ride was the Ferris Wheel. Haha.

Got to take this picture. fyi, you are not allowed to take photos here.
Unless you want your camera to be taken away.
Then, we walked and walked until we reach the infamous Red Light District.
Honestly, it was really awkward being there with my brother. Still, it is indeed one heck of an experience. I am not encouraging you to go but I must say, if you are 18 years old and above, you might want to pay that place a visit. ;)
Pretty ladies everywhere. Ehem!

Bla bla bla, just some sightseeing and off back to the hotel we go.

Folding bridge, allowing ships to pass through

The next day, the four of us visited some of the places in Amsterdam, which included some museums, parks and many coffee shops. Haha. And the rest? Well, just the usual stuff you do when you go on a holiday.
museums and more museums that we do not even enter. haha.

Oh! We also got a free boat tour in the IAMSTERDAM card package. The canal cruise was really useful if you want to know more about the city itself. It is an hour of your time that you should spare whenever you are in the city.

Aye Aye Captain!

Later that day, we went to look for some souvenirs to bring back within the city centre. Yes, Amsterdam is famous for its tolerance with the recreational drugs (i.e. Cannabies). If you have not known this, it is ok to smoke, eat, smell, consume, or anything that has to do with it. In fact, you are going to see a lot of it there. Again, I am not encouraging you to have some but it depends on you, right? hehe..

Get shopping!

We stayed for another night and made our way to Hamburg the next day by train. Going to get into details with that in my next post (If I can)

That is it. I am really honored by the time you spent reading my blog. I am sorry for not posting for such a long time. You know, with me being back home in Malaysia. There are just so many things to do, people to meet, and food to eat. Thus, the blog was neglected. I apologies. Huh, not that you even care. Haha. :P

Again, thanks for reading. Until next time.

I am HOME

Assalamualaikum and Hello everybody!

I am currently back home in Malaysia. The weather here is ridiculous! I am not talking about how warm it is. In fact, sincerely, I do not feel hot here. I think the weather is just right. Or maybe the fact that I went to 'some place' before coming back here caused me to think so.

Anyhow, Malaysia is currently experiencing a very bad haze. Not just my country but almost another 2 more countries in South East Asia are having the same problem. This has been an ongoing problem to this region but this year marks the higher API reading so far. Or in other word, the worst haze we all had so far.
Sneak peak to my upcoming post. Guess where this is?

There is no point of me blaming anyone for this as a huge part of the problem is caused naturally by the hot weather and the chain then continues to - Haze.

What I want to say here is; make sure to take good care of yourself, drink a lot of water (H2O preferably), stay indoor and wash your face or even take a bath as often as you can. Only go out when you really need to, otherwise, remain indoor. :) I am pretty sure, televisions company are making lots of profit in this weather. XD

In the meantime, I am planning to rebrand my blog here to bring it to a step higher than it has already been. Since I am no longer a teen (unfortunately) I feel that I may need to give my blog a more mature sense and probably constantly improve my writing skills.

As for my future updates, they will all come soon. I have tons of story I want to share with all of you. I have been visiting

a lot of new places in these past few months. It would be such a waste for me not to share it here.

Stay tuned.

Au Revoir!

BM itu sebenarnya indah.

Assalamualaikum.

Kan?

;)

Selamat Berjaya!

Sorry, the post will have to be postpone.

I AM BACK!

A wonderful scenery from Oslo, Norway.
(with me of course)
Spring (Easter) Break is finally getting to an end. It is time to get back to reality; where classes need to be attended, exams need to be taken and many more work, work and work to be done.

I would really love to share about my whole trip as it was very interesting (not to mention cold). BUT, I will have to postpone it to a later time, perhaps even until Summer Break?

I know, by then it will be too late and outdated but I still want to share my trips with you. Just, probably  not for another a month or so.

Hey, this girl need to pass her examinations and all. Or else, I might not be able to write anymore. :)

Wish me luck people.

And see you soon! :D

The next step

So, SPM results are coming out tomorrow. Can I say congratulations to all those receiving them in advance? You completed another education level! YEAY!

A friendly advice;

No, it is not gonna be easier in University
What they tell you in school are all lies.

"This will be the toughest phase in your life, Uni is so much easier."- A constant lie people tell you so you will be excited to go to University.

The funny thing is, once you are actually in the Uni, the truth prevails. - "This is the easiest thing you are going to see in your career."

Sorry, I am not trying to scare you but I am doing you a favour of telling you the reality. What you decide to do next, is really important. Therefore, DO WHAT YOU WANT!

For those, getting excellent grades, Congratulations. You have just made yourself eligible for a stepping stone to better future. Take a moment and think exactly what you want to become. Some of you might be so fortunate to receive various offers and scholarships. However, do evaluate them and choose the right one for you. Do not accept the offer just because they are from a reputable entity but rather choose them because they offer you what you needed to become what you dreamed of becoming. I have seen many people make a wrong decision after SPM because they were too eager to show-off or do not stand their ground. Sometimes, less is more. ;)

For those who are getting good grades, my advice are the same as above. Strive for it, you will never know what you are capable of unless you go for it. Oh and no matter how mixed you results are, keep a positive mind. You do not need to earn straight A+ to get the best, all you need to have is confidence and the willing to apply for the course you want (and even perhaps a scholarship) APPLY THEM ALL! A common mistake students do; are not applying. Before you say you are not qualified for it, read the requirements asked. Even if you do not meet them, just apply for it. What is written on your certificates are not the only thing the employer/interviewer look at.

Lastly, for those receiving a less better grades. Cheer up! This is only one phase of your life. There are plenty of other opportunities for you to grab. All you need is the willing to succeed. I have seen so many of my friends who may not be doing well in school but most of them are even doing better than me currently. If you are the ones who are really anticipating of getting a degree, then broaden up your choice. Do not limit yourself to only one particular institution. Consider all options available. No matter where you end up studying, you will basically learn the same thing. It is how you, yourself learn it, is important. If you are the type who are not fond of going to Uni, find something of your interest to improve you skills into. Getting into Uni is not the only option you have.  ;)

Be firm, decide for yourself. Do not let anyone else decide what you should or should not be doing. What you chose now, are going to stay on with you for the rest of your life. Make mistakes along the way. You learn better by making mistakes. Therefore, make sure it is your choice. Even if you make a mistake, it is your mistake so that you will never regret anything in the future.

Take control.

And before I forget, pray so that He gives you a clearer path and helps you in this.
God will not help those who refuse to help themselves. ;)

All the best!
