Perfect flatmates.

Halo peeps!

This past week has been seriously exciting for me and all thanks to my awesome flatmates. :)
They really make Compton house feels like home. Of course, people who visited my flats were all jealous. haha. :P

No, the guy in the middle is not our flatmates -
he's an extraordinary addition.

While waiting for food
The kitchen is our sanctuary place. A place where everything is possible. Mysterious huh? Basically, our kitchen can change into almost any place, except for the toilet of course. haha. It can be really quiete at times but most of the time it is very loud.

Enough with describing our kitchen, let me tell you how great they(we) really are. ;)
So, last week, there were two birthday girls from our flat. Jessica and Nyasha. I am sorry to tell this, but I did not join the birthday celebration for Jessica - too busy in the library searching for essay source which I end up not using after all. Sorry Jessica!

Never again
Next, we had Nyasha birthday celebration in TGI Friday. Considering the fact that it is a nice place to be celebrating birthday (not to mention expensive too), most of us did not eat dinner to save some you know what space for food. TGI everywhere around the world is really slow with their service I guess. We were all starving waiting for our food that we became lunatic by the time the food arrive. haha. In a good way of course. Taking pictures, playing with the balloons (not to mention we took almost all the balloons in TGI that night home) and so on.

By the time the event finished, we were all drunk by craziness (Nope, none of us drink). We unanimously had only plain water. As for food, I had a vegetarian pasta (that was the only thing edible for me on the menu) which I do not ever want to order again in the future. It may seem boring explaining here, but the real situation was beyond what word can describe. :D

Balloons fever

some moments while in TGI.
The next day, the university had organised a fireworks display in the Pats Field. The whole flat went to watch it. We were like little kids during the event. So damn excited. It was the first time for me to actually watch a firework display upfront, close, and live! An unforgettable experience indeed. Here is a short clip for you guys to watch taken during the event. :)

Excited me watching the fireworks.
Few of us.

Afterwords, we had our own little party in the kitchen (See, what did I told you about our kitchen). Thanks to Lola for cooking for us all. She is indeed a very good cook. I enjoyed the vegetables with cheese the most. Never in my life did I have a vegetable dish that makes me want for more. ;)
As usual, the chit chatting, the singing along out loud, the almost kitchen turning into night club. haha. And also a rather weird fun cleaning it up as well.

With them, I certainly feels like home again. Not entirely like home but somewhere close to it. There are just a variety of us in this house. I am certainly glad to have been an occupant here. Surely gonna treasure them a lot considering the fact that we might not be in the same house again next year. Just let me say thank you for making my experience here worthwhile and not make me feel homesick. Oh yeah, can you believe it, I have not been homesick yet. haha. Sure, I misses some of the things back at home, and definitely miss my family but it was not to the extend where I want to cry or be depressed about it. Probably because I have a new family here. :)
